Who is USA’s Favorite Pet?

Your pet isn’t just an animal that lives in your home; people who get it, get it. It’s your confidant, your pal when you’re scared, the one who walks life with you. Your pet is your best friend. 
The reward for being very good boys and girls is a lifetime of happiness together, but we want to sweeten the deal. USA TODAY is looking for USA’s Favorite Pet. We want to hear about your animal pals, whether they have fur, scales or wings. What’s your relationship like? What’s their favorite snack? Are they an introvert or the most popular pet at the local park? 
Through Friday, January 17th, we invite you to submit your best friend to be USA’s Favorite Pet by applying below. Have a photo and story about your pet ready to go. The winner will receive $5,000 in cash, a $5,000 gift card to your favorite pet store, and $5,000 to the winner’s charity of choice that benefits animals. Plus, you’ll be featured in USA TODAY.
